Winchester Santa run and one torn knee!
Today was the day of the Naomi House Santa run, sadly Sam has torn a ligament in his knee and hasn't been able to run for a few days now, he thought he might be better for the run but unfortunately not, Sam is one very disappointed person, not only about the run but for not being able to run on a daily basis.

My reason for not much blogging.
Since returning from my holiday five weeks ago I haven't blogged much, it has been hectic trying to catch up from having three weeks off.I do have one other reason though, my 91 year old mum had some mini strokes whilst I was away, she has been in hospital for 7 weeks, it has been a bit of an eye opener for all concerned.

Mr B is back
I am pleased to announce that Mr B is back to normal, the final total Mr B and his two friends raised for Children in Need is not in yet but he thinks it will be somewhere around 1,300 pounds.

Mr B has a confession, once a year (yes I can assure you it's ONLY once) he dresses up for Children in Need. This involves a 5.30am start to get ready, then he catches the train to Southampton, walks up and down the train collecting money, then proceeds to spend the rest of the day extracting money from whoever will give it to him
No place like home.
I'm back in body if not in spirit, well actually I'm not too sure about the body being back if I'm honest.Coming back from holiday is very abrupt I find, one minute you are on holiday the next minute boom, your into three weeks of dirty washing, sorting out mail, friends and relatives visiting with their news, (which is nice don't get me wrong).
