This week included amongst other things my first ever trip to Morrisons the supermarket. I was with my eldest son Sam who recommended we go as he knew I would be impressed by the vegetable isles. I have to admit I was sceptical, however he knew how I raved about Bills in Lewes (sadly no longer the same) so I was expecting great things from a supermarket.
Back to Petersham Nurseries
I have two friends that wanted to visitPetersham Nurseries in Richmond London, we left it until April thinking it would be warmer. It was sooooooo not warmer, but just as stunning all the same. I have no hesitation in blogging Petersham Nurseries for a third time, it's a beautiful place to have a coffee with gorgeous cake and very pleasant attentive staff.
Alresford and Long Barn
Two Easter cakes.
This carrot cake featured in the previous blog is one I made from the Cereal magazine, it was incredibly easy to make and delicious, plus the carrots really are the bit that makes it even more stunning. If you would like to make it here is the recipe.
Beck Goldsmiths full version of 'I vow to thee my country'.
I thought after my previous blogyou would be interested to hear the full version of Beck Golsmiths version of 'I vow to thee my country' I love it.
The haunting voice of Beck Goldsmith.

Well done Mr B and a big thank you to those that donated.
I am very partial to Wonky
I have always liked pottery and the more wonky the bowls and plates are the better I like it. I have hadSophie Conran for Portmerion for a while now, my son's have bought me quite a lot of it and I always make a special request that they choose the most wobbly items.
