Theia

In my last blog I asked, to buy or not to buy. Well the answer is, yes I did.

Let me introduce you to Theia, she is rather beautiful and very well behaved.

I have always been attracted to busts of the stone variety! In particular a very lovely one in a house window in Ditching East Sussex, and another in the Beacon Hill District of Boston USA. So now I am the proud owner of my own. Thank you very much Ray for my lovely birthday present.

Theia came from the Packhouse in Surrey, they have lots of lovely things old and new and it is well worth a visit.

If I have my Mary Portas head on though I would say the service was not great, we felt like we had just bought a loaf of bread, then were asked if we wanted it wrapped, and was handed a few bits of meagre bubble wrap.

Now I know we didn't spend thousands of pounds, but hey maybe one day we would be!

Still worth the trip to see all lovely things though, just create your own atmosphere, maybe it was a bad day, who knows.
