The pictures have a home.

Do you remember my blog some time ago about some cards I had collected, well they have finally found their new home. First of all I showed you the old cloakroom  then I showed you it about a third finished and now here it is completely finished. I struggled taking pictures in such a small room and am not entirely happy with the finished pictures, however you can't start something and not finish it so here it is.

I discovered a few things along the way whilst totally redoing this room

1: Small rooms take just as long as large rooms

2: If you need any plastering doing DO NOT call me I loathe it!

3: If you are really careful you don't put nails through water pipes!

4: It's very difficult to keep admiring a new cloakroom unless you just keep sitting on the loo!

5: It's impossible to take a whole room picture in such a small space, I do have a loo in there just didn't think a picture of just the loo was something many people would want to see!

So there its done all finished, I'm pleased with it. I love all the zinc items, the loo roll basket was a junk find and free (don't you just love that), the towel and curtains (table runners actually) were from H&M, cards collected from various places and frames all bought from The Range. I am partial to nice hand wash, hand cream and reed diffusers. The mirror and shelf were already in the cloakroom they were just given a new lease of life. The zinc loo letters are actually not zinc at all but paper mache letters bought from a craft shop and sprayed gun metal silver, so much cheaper than the real thing and who would know unless you picked them up.
