My two sons looked fantastic and so did their girlfriends, and as for that man with the long blonde hair well!

It was warm, it was very very warm, some might say unbearably so unless you were wearing beach clothes, which we weren't!

We hid in the shade, or the flower border to be precise!

In the short time I was away my roses all came out, this is Heritage by David Austin. It was bought out the year I was born.

Allium's are great things, the bigger the better, you can get some the size of footballs, they look like star burst fireworks. You have to plant them amongst other plants though as the leaves are pretty ugly.

My garden takes on a jungle feel in the summer, I do have a pond but it disappears, the frogs like it that way, my cat doesn't!

It's kind of like a tamed wilderness! I like my garden like that, some people don't, if you like straight lines and order then maybe my garden is not for you.

How is your garden growing?
