When you take all the Christmas lights down all the twinkle seems to disappear, I don't miss the Christmas decorations as much but the twinkly lights, well they just can't go I'm afraid.January is dull enough, so I keep out some of the lights to cheer us up and get us through those long dark evenings. Some of you may remember the blog from cable and cotton, I said I would feature the red spheres in a blog, well that didn't happen as the red was too bright for me. So here they are all together inside one of my candle lanterns, minus the candle of course. They are providing a bit of twinkle in my lounge at the moment.

I have to admit that my conservatory always looks like an advert for a fairy grotto! It has more than it's fare share of twinkle and candles, lots of candles.

How do you compensate for the lack of Christmas?
