Peonies beautiful peonies, need I say more. I spent £5 on five peonies in bud six days ago and as far as I can tell I have a lot more enjoyment left, what a small price to pay for so much pleasure.
My Kinfolk magazine arrived in the post today, thank you to Town Mill Bakery for bringing this magazine to my attention, I have spent a pleasant hour sat in my conservatory reading some of the articles and I look forward to more.
Such a beautifully presented magazine.
Leela's spoons she has collected from her travels, now that she is settled they remind her of pleasant times every time she uses them.
A collection of photographs to remind you spring has arrived.
A mother and son making bread, but really so much more.
Morning rituals, the pleasure of breakfast.
The goodness of handcrafted gifts.
I can't tell you what a pleasure this magazine is to browse through, yes it's expensive but there are no adverts and its more like a book really, something that you can dip in and out of over and over again. A magazine to inspire, a magazine to make you slow down stop and think and appreciate some of the simple things in life, and to appreciate the best that is. This magazine wont be thrown away but will earn its place on my bookshelf for years to come, a little bit of nice to brighten my day.
