Something to look forward to.

We have full blown flu, it's not clever and it's not funny! Apart from anything else we were supposed to take my 90 year old Mum to see Anton and Erin of Strictly Come Dancing fame last night. It was her Christmas present, however she did get to go and was still really excited about it all this morning, so I guess she enjoyed herself.

To cheer myself up I decided to find things to look forward to when I am better, there is my birthday, we have a cafe opening to go to, I have a surprise planned for Mr B for his birthday, it still needs some sorting, we have two holidays almost planned, and then there is this little goodie that I found whilst trawling the net.

You remember we went to Chichester? Well I noticed a article about the Chichester Flower Festival which is planned for 7th 8th and 9th of June 2012, the Cathedral will look and smell amazing, but here is the best bit for me. You may remember in previous posts that I am a fan of sculptures of all kind's, one of my favourite sculptor's is Philip Jackson, I was lucky enough to go to one of his exhibitions at West Dean Gardens some time ago. The exhibition was called Sacred and Profane and it was outstanding. Philip Jackson will be exhibiting some 30 sculptures at Chichester Flower Festival, put the date in your diary I'm sure it will be fantastic.

My photographs were from the Sacred and Profane exhibition, you may want to visit West Dean Gardens it is one of my favourite places. They have special days throughout the year such as a Med fest a Chilli Fiesta and a Apple Affair. They have a wonderful Victorian fruit and vegetable garden with original victorian greenhouses, everything is of a very high standard.

Cough, splutter, sniff, ache, ache!
