We are now in Southern Vermont, we have seen some lovely things on our travels and one funny thing! Even though he wasn't going to kill us we still didn't give him a lift! What's worse than hitching a lift? Someone taking a picture of you trying to hitch a lift.
I'm looking at old barns with a view to bringing one home with me so I can set up shop!
There are quite a few to choose from but I am liking the red ones best.

Beautiful Bennington Potters Pottery, damn there are so many things that just wont go in your suitcase.
A very large Moose, half in a shop and half out, complete with wellington boots of course. It is my ambition to see a real Moose one day, I don't believe they exist!
Or perhaps they do!
