At night the bridge is illuminated with: 3640 festoon lights - which are on the cable chains and toll booths, 240 fluorescent tubes - which light to outer parapet, 190 flood lights - which light the towers, 16 street lights - which light the carriage and footway and navigational lights for river traffic.
