Beacon Hill Boston

The first two pictures are of the Back Bay Hotel in Boston that used to be the local police station, it is also home to some rather nice sculptures.Mr B was more than happy today shopping in the 'Life is Good' store in Newbury Street Boston, even on a saturday Newbury Street is a calm wide paved beautiful place to stroll along and take in all the sights. Then we headed over to Beacon Hill. Beacon Hill is a historic neighbourhood of Boston, Massachusetts, that along with the neighbouring Back Bay is home to about 26,000 people. It is a neighbourhood of Federal-style row houses and is known for its narrow, gas-lit streets and brick sidewalks. Today, Beacon Hill is regarded as one of the most desirable and expensive neighbourhoods in Boston. I love looking at the way people decorate the outside of their houses for the fall season, and would give my right arm for a nose inside some of these amazing houses. If I come into vast amounts of money you will find me here!
