Today I handed over a very special quilt for Gail who lost her husband very suddenly at a very young age. I have only met her twice but she is a true inspiration to all of us. Gail is coping with bringing up a young family on her own, so I hope that this quilt will be of some small comfort to her when she is not her happy smiling self.
She was gracious enough to let me share the quilt with you, and here is the result of turning her husbands clothes into something more positive.
A big thank you to Gail's husband for not sending fork lightening to my home when I cut up his VERY special red polo shirt. I know it was his favourite, but I think you will agree that it makes great bunting and very special hearts, and a much beloved Angel Of The North!
